Magnetic contacts are a system for monitoring the condition of doors, windows or other moving elements such as blinds. It is an instantaneous alarm that acts by means of a reed contact and a permanent magnet that when they are no longer in contact, alters the magnetic field and interrupts the signal.
For a correct selection of magnetic contact, it is necessary to differentiate between two types of surfaces, ferromagnetic (Fe) surfaces such as iron and non-ferromagnetic surfaces (NFe) such as plastic.
CM Series Instructions
Prevents alarm disarming through the use of an external magnet.

In case of intrusion, it detects communication failure, magnetic interference, manipulation of the access control or opening of the box by means of an opening tamper.
Our magnetic contacts are certified by IMQ according to the European standard EN50131-2-6, adding for the Belgian market additional tests with the standard T031: 2014.
Grade 2: Medium risk level, sabotage by people with minimal knowledge.
Grade 3: Medium risk level, sabotage by people with high knowledge.
Grade 4: High risk level, sabotage by persons with specific knowledge of the system.
Class II: Environmental operation class for industrial and indoor environments in general. Temperature range from -10ºC to 40ºC with an average relative humidity of 75% without condensation.
Class IV: Environmental operation class for outdoors exposed completely and permanently to the elements. Temperature range between -25ºC and 60ºC with average relative humidity of 75% without condensation.
