Magnetic retainers are a fire control measure and vitally important.
They are used as fixed installations on fire doors and keep these doors open until a fire alarm exists.
The doors are closed by automatic or manual activation to prevent the spread of fire and smoke throughout the building.
The magnetic retainers are inspected by the Applus+ certification company in accordance with current construction regulations and approved according to the European standard EN1155 and EN14637.

All OPENERS & CLOSERS models incorporate a push button for the manual release of the door that allows it to close without the need for a fire or emergency alarm.
Unlike other push buttons, in OPENERS & CLOSERS we guarantee the functionality of 25,000 cycles to keep you always safe in case of fire.
The push button should be located in the center or as far outside as possible so that there is easy access to the electrical disarming.
For Surface mount installations, 3 openings of 20.5 mm have been created in order to correctly fit the conduit tubes of the electrical wiring.
The finish of the installation is improved and they are protected from any manipulation.
The new design has been conceived to facilitate and improve the installation of magnetic door retainers by simply connecting it to the power supply and tightening the 4 screws.

Our floor module has a 180º swivel to adapt to all types of doors and environments.
A renewed PCBA has been designed to include electronic surge protection to reduce the risk of inoperability.
The connection strip has been improved diagonally to facilitate connection.
Dual solenoid models incorporate a switch for manual power changeover.
It is recommended that the fixing installation of magnetic door retainers for swing doors should not be more than 150 mm from the upper or lower closing edge of the door.
However, it is important to take into account the door manufacturer's approval.
For door closing, the tripping torque of a 90° door must be between 40 Nm and 120 Nm.
