At Openers & Closers, sustainability is the driving force behind our change. From small daily actions to large initiatives, we are building a future where prosperity and caring for the planet go hand in hand. Our goal is to generate a positive impact both in the community and the environment, promoting an inclusive work environment and applying practices that foster diversity, with always ethical and transparent management.
In all aspects of our activities, both in events and training as well as internally, we choose to use reusable bottles, biodegradable cups, and glasses. With this, we aim to reduce the consumption of single-use plastics and minimize our environmental impact. This initiative is part of our effort to promote more responsible practices and align with our values.
Internal initiatives
We have implemented several initiatives that reflect our commitment to the environment.
Among them, we have established a book exchange to encourage the reuse of resources and share knowledge more sustainably. We also promote the reuse of coffee cans, giving them a second life as containers or decorations, and, of course, we remain firmly committed to recycling in all our work areas.
Additionally, thanks to Tree-Nation, each employee has the opportunity to participate in the ambitious global project of planting 1 trillion trees by 2050. This allows us not only to contribute to the planet's well-being but also to be active participants in the fight against climate change.
We believe that a company's success is not only measured in economic terms but also in its ability to create a work environment that prioritizes employee well-being and respects the environment.
Improvements in Production
In our production, we select noble materials such as stainless steel, zinc, aluminum, magnesium, copper, and ABS, all recyclable, allowing us to extend their lifespan and reduce environmental impact.
We focus on simplifying our products, integrating various functionalities to optimize inventory and contribute to sustainability.

We have eliminated the use of plastics in several production processes and redesigned our products to completely do without this material. Additionally, we work closely with suppliers who meet quality and sustainability standards.
Energy Efficiency
We have managed to significantly reduce the electrical consumption of our products, without compromising their reliability or performance. Every milliamp counts, especially in large installations, where optimizing consumption is key to more efficient operation.
Digitalization
At Openers & Closers, we are committed to digitalization, which allows us to significantly reduce paper usage both internally and externally. Now, our instruction manuals, installation tutorials, and all necessary information are available via QR codes and on our website. This approach not only optimizes our processes but also reinforces our commitment to global sustainability.
Goals
Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, our commitment to sustainability will continue to be the core of our operations. We have set ambitious goals to actively contribute to a fairer and more sustainable world.
By 2030, we aim to:
- Continue reducing our CO2 emissions and offset them through the use of renewable energies and reforestation programs.
- Promote the circular economy by reusing materials and minimizing waste at every stage of our supply chain.
- Continue improving our internal processes and support environmental conservation initiatives, such as reforestation programs and ecosystem protection.
