Series DDC
Invisible power. Maximum reliability.
Series DDC electric door contacts are engineered to reliably transmit electrical power from the door frame to locks installed within the door leaf. By maintaining a secure electrical connection across the moving door gap, Series DDC contacts ensure precise and uninterrupted access control operation.
Designed for professional security applications, they provide a robust and concealed solution for powering electromechanical locking hardware.

Maximum Conductivity
Silver Plated Terminals
To maximize conductivity and long-term performance, Series DDC constant current contacts incorporate silver-plated brass terminals. This premium material selection minimizes electrical resistance while enhancing corrosion resistance, ensuring consistent signal transmission over time.
The result is improved reliability, reduced maintenance requirements, and optimal electrical efficiency in demanding access control environments.

Operational Confidence
Double Contact Reliability
Series DDC constant current models feature two identical contact points, reducing oxidation and improving overall connection stability. This dual-contact design simplifies wiring installation and compensates for minor door misalignments, ensuring dependable current transmission even in less-than-perfect installations.
The result is enhanced durability, consistent lock activation, and long-term operational confidence.

Current Flow Options
Current Flow Options to Suit Every Application

Intermittent Current
For locks that operate on a single activation pulse, the DDC2, DDC3, and DDC4 intermittent current models provide dependable performance with a minimum current intensity of 1.5 A.
Specifically compatible with fail-secure (negative security) operation, these models are optimized for applications where momentary power delivery is required without compromising electrical integrity or long-term durability.

Constant Current
The constant current version DDC1 is designed for electromechanical locks that require continuous power for activation. Supporting a minimum current intensity of 0.5 A, it is fully compatible with both fail-secure (negative security) and fail-safe (positive security) lock configurations.
This makes the DDC1 ideal for applications where stable, uninterrupted current flow is critical to maintaining door security and operational reliability.
