Series TE EN13637 emergency exit terminals are the certified solution for controlling emergency access points within evacuation routes. In situations of emergency, it is essential to be able to evacuate spaces with a large capacity quickly and in a controlled manner, without interrupting or hindering the passage of the routes designed for that purpose.
Series TE terminals not only prevent unauthorized access to the evacuation area but, in emergency situations, enable instant unlocking with just the press of a button.
What is the UNE EN 13637 Standard?
The UNE EN 13637 standard establishes the requirements for electrically controlled exit systems on doors located in fire and panic evacuation routes. Its objective is to ensure that in the event of an emergency, doors are automatically unlocked, guaranteeing safe evacuation without relinquishing access control during daily use.
It includes requirements on unlocking in the event of electrical faults or alarm signals, compatibility with mechanical openings (such as panic bars), and joint certification of all components such as control unit, lock, pushbutton, power supply and signaling.
